ABOUT US
We are a long-established business based near Bangor in North Wales in the foothills of Snowndonia mountains. The nursery was moved from Kyre Park, Worcester to North Wales when it changed hands in 2002.
In 2007, Dick Hayward retired from the day-to-day running of the business and now concentrates on what he likes doing best - propagating ferns. Directors Ben Kettle and Jennie Jones run the nursery. Both scientifically-trained, Ben is an ecologist and plantsman with landscaping and habitat creation skills and Jennie is a keen gardener with an interest in sustainable development. We each have skills and experience that are complementary to each other and are working together to improve the way we do business. We are constantly working hard to build on our reputation of being the number one fern nursery in the UK by bringing our customers the best plants available in the UK today and providing the best service.
We welcome visitors to the nursery throughout the year - please contact us for an appointment.
We are working towards improving our sustainability - to minimise our environmental impact and work in a socially and ethically-aware way - and are implementing an environmental management system as a first step towards this.
Our mission is to grow and supply the very best quality plants and provide the highest quality and friendly service.
